The System Failed Me. So I Built My Own.
At 17, I nearly died in an ATV crash. I was doing 60mph across an open field when I hit a ravine I never saw - launched off one side, hit the other head-first, flipped two and a half times, and landed on my skull. Two helicopters. Two brain bleeds. They almost had to drill a hole in my head.
That injury rattled me to my core and changed the trajectory of my life. What followed was years of pain, brain fog, fatigue, and a healthcare system that handed me prescriptions instead of answers. By 20, I discovered I had clinically low testosterone - and not a single doctor had thought to check.
So I started figuring it out myself. I dove into research - adaptogens, bioavailable minerals, botanicals, anything backed by real science. I experimented on my own body for over a decade, tracking everything, learning what actually worked versus what was marketing noise.
Along the way, life threw everything at me. I hit rock bottom more than once - depression, heartbreak, moments where I didn't think I'd make it through. But every time, I rebuilt. Through the gym, through journaling, through the people who showed up when it mattered, and through the compounds that actually moved the needle on how I felt.
In 2024, I launched Formulation Factory - not because I wanted to start a supplement company, but because every product I tried was hiding behind proprietary blends and underdosed formulas.
